SSI's Advanced Open Water rating stands alone in the industry with the highest combination of diving knowledge and experience. No other agency's advanced diver level compares. To earn the certification for Advanced Open Water Diver, you must complete 4 specialty courses.

Local Open Water Certification
Summer months, local lakes here in Colorado

Homestead Crater, Open Water Certification
Winter months, at Homestead Resort in Midway Utah.

Classroom and Pool Sessions
Do your Classroom and Pool with RMDC and complete the open water dives on an RMDC escorted trip.

Prerequisites:
10 years old and up
Open Water Certification
Complete a SSI Medical History Statement
4 SSI Specialty Courses
24 completed dives

Required Books and Equipment:
4 SSI Specialty Kits
Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Mouthpieces
